Meet The Doctor
Michael J. Koppe D.D.S.
Dr. Koppe is a highly experienced, caring dentist who provides a wide range of treatment styles. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Santa Clara and his D.D.S. from the University of California in San Francisco, where he also completed a general practice residency.
He has taught at UCSF in the Department of Oral Surgery, the Emergency Room, the Dental Residency Program, and is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at the International Dentist Program at the Buchannan Dental Center, where he has been awarded Outstanding Teacher of the Year four years running.
Dr. Koppe has been practicing in his Larkspur office in Marin County since 1984. He describes himself as energetic and enthusiastic about life.
When he is not treating patients, he is mountain biking or skiing on the trails in Tahoe, rock climbing, or playing tenacious defense on the basketball court. He lives in Marin with his wife, a high school English teacher, and his two yellow Labrador retrievers. His son is a student at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
